The Colour Of The Day
Light Orange, Near Black and Dark Blue
A reduced set: The Daily Telegraph, The Independent and Daily Express were not available, so this day is measured from 2 papers rather than 5. That is too few to stand for the press as a whole, so these colours are not comparable with the rest of the archive.
Three colours drawn from the front pages of 2 national newspapers published on Wednesday, 6 February 2019: light orange, near black and dark blue. The dominant shade held 32 per cent of all chromatic ink measured across the set.
