The Colour Of The Day
Near Black, Vibrant Cyan and Vibrant Red
A reduced set: Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph and Daily Star were not available, so this day is measured from 2 papers rather than 5. That is too few to stand for the press as a whole, so these colours are not comparable with the rest of the archive.
Three colours drawn from the front pages of 2 national newspapers published on Sunday, 24 February 2019: near black, vibrant cyan and vibrant red. The dominant shade held 28 per cent of all chromatic ink measured across the set.
