The Colour Of The Day
Pale Blue, Vibrant Red and Pale Orange
A reduced set: Daily Mail, Daily Express and Daily Star were not available, so this day is measured from 2 papers rather than 5. That is too few to stand for the press as a whole, so these colours are not comparable with the rest of the archive.
Three colours drawn from the front pages of 2 national newspapers published on Sunday, 22 September 2019: pale blue, vibrant red and pale orange. The dominant shade held 35 per cent of all chromatic ink measured across the set.
