The Colour Of The Day
Near Black, Deep Blue and Dark Cyan
A reduced set: Daily Mail, Daily Express and Daily Star were not available, so this day is measured from 2 papers rather than 5. That is too few to stand for the press as a whole, so these colours are not comparable with the rest of the archive.
Three colours drawn from the front pages of 2 national newspapers published on Sunday, 5 March 2023: near black, deep blue and dark cyan. The dominant shade held 57 per cent of all chromatic ink measured across the set.
