The Colour Of The Day
Vibrant Orange, Dark Red and Pale Red
A reduced set: Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph and Daily Express were not available, so this day is measured from 2 papers rather than 5. That is too few to stand for the press as a whole, so these colours are not comparable with the rest of the archive.
Three colours drawn from the front pages of 2 national newspapers published on Sunday, 24 December 2023: vibrant orange, dark red and pale red. The dominant shade held 45 per cent of all chromatic ink measured across the set.
