The Colour Of The Day
Vibrant Red, Deep Orange and Green
A reduced set: Daily Mail, The Independent and Daily Express were not available, so this day is measured from 2 papers rather than 5. That is too few to stand for the press as a whole, so these colours are not comparable with the rest of the archive.
Three colours drawn from the front pages of 2 national newspapers published on Sunday, 19 May 2019: vibrant red, deep orange and green. The dominant shade held 19 per cent of all chromatic ink measured across the set.
